About Megan

Megan McCarthy is a senior Media Photography major and Studio Art minor at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. Graduating in May 2012, she plans on moving on to the University of Missouri in Columbia majoing in International Studies and minoring in Film Studies. In the future she hopes to study Ethnography and a career in photojournalism specializing in cultural studies.

The design aspect comes in to play with Megan’s interest in fine art photography and film photography. Color theory is something that she is very interested in as well as natural light.

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, I attended Winnetonka High School. Involved all throughout my time there, I played soccer and graduated with honors in our internationally recognized theater department. I have an extreme love for my hometown and although I plan to move after college, I plan on coming home to visit often. I also enjoy working with medium format film photography and cooking in my spare time.
